Martijn, a founding partner, brings 20 years of M&A experience gained in Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. Before co-founding SLP, Martijn was a managing director M&A at Rabobank’s investment banking division in New York, responsible for the origination and execution of M&A transactions for corporate and private equity clients in food logistics and packaging. Throughout his career, Martijn has worked for clients in a variety of industries, including food & agriculture, transportation & logistics and business services. Before Rabobank, Martijn worked for PwC’s corporate finance team in Amsterdam.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Bram, a founding partner, brings to investment banking in infra+ transportation & logistics a unique background that combines private equity, capital markets, lending and M&A experience. Bram also has over 20 years of international transaction experience. Prior to co-founding SLP, Bram worked at Rabobank in Europe and North America, mainly focusing on sponsor coverage and financing. Bram started his career with AlpInvest Partners in its direct control investment team in Belgium.

He holds an MSc in applied economics (cum laude) from the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and completed executive programs at Harvard and Chicago Booth.

Jef Erends joined us as a partner in October 2023. He has over a decade of investment banking experience, including various roles in M&A and sector coverage as well as rotations in leverage finance and equity capital markets. Prior to joining Seven Lakes Partners, Jef worked at Rabobank in New York, Singapore and the Netherlands.

He holds an MSc financial management from TiasNimbas (Netherlands) and has a BA in liberal arts and sciences.

Carmen joined Seven Lakes Partners as a vice president in May 2023. She brings execution experience in temperature-controlled logistics from her previous role at Rabobank’s M&A team in the Netherlands. Prior M&A experience includes Natixis Partners, where she executed mid-market transactions with a focus on Spain and Portugal.

Carmen holds a BSc Degree in business administration and management from CUNEF University (Spain).

In her personal time, Carmen enjoys outdoor sports and spending time with family and friends.

Yannick joined Seven Lakes Partners as an analyst in March 2023. He brings valuable expertise in financial analysis from his time with EY’s financial due diligence team in the Netherlands, where he conducted comprehensive financial assessments and identified key value drivers and risks in M&A transactions across industries.

Yannick holds an MSc in accountancy and control from the University of Amsterdam and an LLM in tax law from VU Amsterdam.

In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, watching sports and spending time with friends and family.

Lorenzo joined Seven Lakes Partners as an analyst in February 2023. He brings an international background with diverse experiences across M&A. His prior experience includes internships in investment banking at Tandem Corporate Finance (now Natixis Belgium), private equity at Blackfin Capital Partners and real estate corporate lending at ING.

He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in business engineering from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.

In his free time, he enjoys playing football and volleyball, as well as cooking (Italian food) for his family and friends.

Maxim joined Seven Lakes Partners as an analyst in April 2024. Leveraging his private equity experience from internships at Egeria and Icelake Capital, he possesses a strong skillset in financial analysis and identifying key growth opportunities.

Maxim holds an MSc in finance and an MSc in business administration from the University of Amsterdam.

Outside of work, he is passionate about playing outdoor sports like tennis, skiing and padel. He also enjoys traveling the globe.
